
Lior Volinz, 23, from Ramat Gan was chosen as the Israeli representative to the Foreign Correspondents’ Programme in Finland in August 2010.
Lior Volinz works as a foreign correspondent for Middle East affairs for the “Katedra” magazine from Slovenia. Simultaneously he is completing his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and European history at the Tel Aviv University. As part of his studies he serves as a research assistant for content analysis of foreign news in the Israeli media.
Lior has been part of a multicultural study program at the United World College of the Adriatic in Duino, Italy. He has also worked as a volunteer in Ljubljana for the European Voluntary Service program, which organizes psycho-social support for asylum seekers in Slovenia.
